- Noblesville City Council Rezones Historic Property for Affordable Housing
HAND plans to convert a historic property at 304 S. Eighth Street in Noblesville to affordable aparments. HAND plans to preserve the historic character of the circa 1870s building.

- Thirty One Affordable Housing Units Open in Hamilton County
Thirty-one low-income senior families will be settling into their new, affordable apartments in Hamilton County before the cold Indiana winter begins. Plum Tree Gardens in Noblesville, Indiana and Spicewood Garden Apartments in Sheridan, Indiana, are both independent living communities for seniors 55 and older. HAND held ribbon cuttings for both of the properties to mark their openings during the Fall of 2009.

- HAND Receives Full Funding for Plum Tree Gardens
In February of 2009, HAND received notice that it received full funding for its Plum Tree Garden Duplex community planned for Noblesville. HAND was awarded $405,000 in Affordable Housing Program funds from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis and nearly $300,000 in HOME funds from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. The remainder of the funding will come from a loan from STAR Financial Bank. Plum Tree Gardens will consist of 3 duplexes with 6 2-bedroom affordable apartments for seniors.

- Noblesville City Council waives nearly $32,000 in fees for Plum Tree Gardens
In late October of 2008, the Noblesville City Council voted to waive nearly $32,000 in city, park and road impact fees. HAND is grateful for the City of Noblesville’s support of its project that will offer six units of affordable housing for seniors in Noblesville!
