2024 Suburban Housing Conference – May 16

HAND’s 2024 Suburban Housing Conference is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, at the 502 East Event Centre in Carmel.

We’re still putting the finishing touches on the agenda, but attendees will learn about the regional insights included in the new Central Indiana Housing Study and hear the latest on Hamilton County’s future labor force needs. Plus, we will hear from a panel of our neighbors about their very real struggle to find housing options they can afford.

Afternoon breakout sessions will focus on the housing needs of specific populations: older adults, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and families who have survived violence.

We’ll end the day with a focus on the future as attendees provide input for Hamilton County’s Community Development Block Grant program.
